This two-day workshop for actors and singers will have each participant
working on two contrasting songs and one monologue either of their choosing,
or customized to each participant by the instructor. In addition, exercises
in regards to choosing appropriate material and tools to help us to do so
will be given.
Accompanist is Tara Litvack. Class size is limited to 6; please send a
picture, resume, and a short letter in regards to your interest in the
class.

Come have fun playing with Shakespeare and connecting with the characters
and text. Using a single play, participants will be assigned roles and will
approach the work much like in a rehearsal process. You’ll learn how to
begin and how to dig deeper. You’ll learn about the text, how to speak it
and how to understand it. Focusing on action and character, the text come
alive.

fun, engaging and personalized to you! You will explore the depths of your
imagination through improv exercises, games, warmups and scenes with the
guidance and expertise of Tony Babcock (Fibe TV 1's IRL: The Series,
Beyblade, Global's Final 24). Additionally you will use improvisation as a
tool for finding truth in your work and exploring our social landscape with
added elements of life-coaching, storytelling and character study.
All-in-all you will realize that improv goes way deeper than making jokes.
