Additional information:
Resource Centre for the Arts Theatre Company (St.  John's, NL) is casting
3 roles for an upcoming Mainstage Production, Dedication, by Ed Riche,
directed by Charlie Tomlinson (in partnership with the Arts and Culture
Centres). Rehearsals start October 16th 2017, Production plays at The LSPU
Hall in St. John's November 9-19, 2017. Tentatively, A Provincial Arts and
Culture Centre tour will follow from November 21- December 3rd, 2017.

Dedication is set on July 1st, 1924 in St. John's, NL.

We are seeking actors to play the following roles:

Field Marshal Douglas Haig, male, aged 65, who was in Newfoundland at the
time to dedicate the National War Memorial.

Charles Edgecombe, 27-35 years old. Edgecombe is a tall and fit man but
walks with a pronounced limp. He is a rough man around the edges but he is
smart and educated.

Miss Geraldine Drover, 25 years old.  A very modern woman in 1924,
recently returned from Berlin and dressed in a similar style to Sylvia Von
Harden in Otto Dix's painting:

Interested actors are asked to submit photo and resume to
associate at rca.nf.ca
Suitable applicants will then be sent a script and asked to prepare an
audition.
The performer will be engaged under an Equity DOT agreement.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
