Additional information:

The Blyth Festival is seeking a candidate to fill the seasonal position of
Production Manager for the 2017 summer season. The contract will start in
late April and conclude in late September, subject to change.
In 2017, the Blyth Festival will produce a repertory summer season of four
new Canadian plays and our annual Young Company project, as well as present
two shows in our studio space.

This is a contract position expected to start approximately May 1, 2017 and
run through to early October 2017.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Hire seasonal production team
• Liaise with designers/directors
• Cost productions
• Supervise production team
• Prepare big-production schedule
• Oversee production budget and adhere to same
• Report weekly on budget expenses to date
• Plan, and participate in, repertory changeovers
• Enforce Health & Safety policies

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Thorough background in all aspects of technical theatre production
• Proven management experience and good communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Experience with purchase orders and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety policies
• Valid G Driver’s Licence
• Working at Heights
• Working knowledge of QLAB is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
