Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Performers of
all ages, ethnicities, and genders are encouraged to submit.

Additional information:
Submissions are now being accepted for Geordie Brown's upcoming production
of a Canadian musical revue, to be staged this summer in Atlantic Canada to
celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary of confederation. Approximate contract
dates: June 29 - August 27th.

Auditions will be held in Halifax and Toronto. Producer/Director Geordie
Brown is seeking submissions from multi-talented singers/musicians/actors.
Performers of all ages, ethnicities, and genders are encouraged to submit.

Performers may be from a variety of musical backgrounds and styles, though
strong singing ability, musicianship, sight-reading ability, and strong
stage-presence are assets.

In addition to strong singing ability, performers must also be highly
skilled at one or more of the following instruments: GUITAR, FIDDLE/VIOLIN,
PIANO.

Dance experience is an asset, but not necessary.

Performers will be engaged through the ITA under the E House category.
Contract length is approximately 8 weeks. More details will be provided to
successful applicants.

Auditions will be held (by appointment only) in Toronto, ON on Friday, March
31st, 2017, and Halifax, NS on Monday, April 3rd, 2017.

Please submit a headshot and resume (or brief bio outlining training and

Please put your city in the subject line of your e-mail (Halifax or
Toronto).

Please make it clear in your submission which instruments you play. Demo
videos may be included in submissions.

Submissions must be received by 5:00pm on Monday, March 27th, 2017.

Successful applicants will be asked to prepare two contrasting songs that
show them at their best. Applicants may also be asked to prepare provided
material in advance. An accompanist will be provided.

Only those applicants selected for an audition will be contacted.

Video submissions may be considered if an applicant is unable to attend
their audition in person.

Performers who have auditioned for (or worked with) Geordie Brown within the
past 2 years may not need to audition, but may express their interest in
being considered by e-mailing an updated resume and headshot.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
