Project Ploughshares maintains the peace-l mailing list for Canadian discussions of general peace issues including emerging crises. A separate list, abolition-l, has been created to focus specifically on areas related to nuclear disarmament; those interested in this topic are encouraged to subscribe to this list. (http://list.web.net/lists/listinfo/abolition-l) List Protocol Agreement on all issues and strategies is not expected, but for the list to foster open discussion, it is critical that those participating be respectful of others and adhere to the following protocol: The list should not be used for personal attacks on members of the forum. If you disagree with a position, argue the position rather than make personal accusations. If you are upset with a person, email the person directly. Keep it off the listserv. Racist or otherwise offensive postings are not acceptable. Persistent posting of confrontational emails or personal attacks on the listserv may result in removal from it. To post a message to all the list members, send email to peace-l@list.web.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Peace-l
Subscribe to Peace-l by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
