Hello to all playwrights, playwright organizations, agents, theatres
and instructors.

If you wouldn't mind, please take a moment to pass this information
along to a writer or two, to announce it at your next gathering, or to
print and post it in your green rooms and reception areas. Thank you!

BRIEF NEW WORKS !

ATP's noon-hour reading series of new ten minute plays from across the
land.

Submissions are now accepted all year round.  In early January a jury
of Calgary theatre professionals will select approximately 16 scripts.
 If your script is selected you will receive an honourarium of $250
and your play will be read as part of PanCanadian playRites, our
Annual Festival of New Canadian Plays.

Your Play Must Be:

* A maximum of 10 minutes long
* 3 actors maximum
* Suitable for reading at music stands
* Appropriate to a noon hour crowd of mixed ages and tastes

 Please submit TWO identical copies of your Brief New Work.

Please do not e-mail your script
Please list character breakdown on the cover.

SCRIPTS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
