HONK! - Ruth Smillie, Artistic Director of Globe Theatre in Regina, 
will be holding auditions in Calgary on July 18th, from 10 a.m. to 4 
p.m. for Honk! a musical comedy.  The production dates for Honk! are:
- rehearsals October 15th to November 13th, 2002
- performances November 14th to December 22nd, 2002

Artists of every culture are invited to audition for the available 
roles:

Drake/Greylag (30's-40's) Baritone or bass-baritone
Turkey/Barnacles/Bullfrog/Father Swan (30's-50's) Bass-baritone
Maureen/Snowy/Queenie/Old Woman (30's-50's) Soprano or high mezzo
Henrietta/Penny (20's) Soprano

Actors auditioning for Honk! will be asked to present one monologue (3
to 5 minutes) and to sing.  There will not be an accompanist for the 
audition but there will be a CD/cassette player available.  Ruth
requests that only actors with experience singing professionally in
musicals or with advanced singing training book audition appointments.
Dance experience/training is an asset for this production.


THE CORONATION VOYAGE - On July 19th, Allen MacInnis will be 
auditioning actors for Globe Theatre's production of The Coronation 
Voyage.  The production dates for The Coronation Voyage are:
- rehearsals April 1st to April 23rd, 2003
- performances April 24th to May 10th, 2003

All of the roles in this cast of 15 are currently available.

Actors auditioning for The Coronation Voyage should have read the play 
prior to the audition.  Please prepare one contemporary monologue 
and/or a monologue from the play.


THE AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN ALBERTA THEATRE PROJECT's REHEARSAL 
HALL.
