Meet the Camera - Thursday July 18, 2002

It's time for your close-up! Learn the basics of interacting with a
camera in this one evening intensive workshop, led by Andrew McIlroy.
Topics covered include:

- The audition
- Your "hit"
- Make the camera an ally
- The biz


ANDREW McILROY is a graduate of the National Theatre School and Ottawa
University. He has been teaching for over 15 years at, among other
places, Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Simon Fraser University
and at Gastown Actor's Studio in Vancouver. Andrew has served as a
dramaturge to more than 17 new Canadian scripts. Recent guest-starring
roles include "First Wave", "Dead Man's Gun", "Hollywood Off Ramp" and
"Cold Squad". He  costars in "Slapshot II" and "The Void" among other
features. Andrew has been a professional actor, dancer, director and
writes documentary TV, all this by way of saying, he is fluent in all
"languages" required by the craft.
