Theatre Ontario Internship 
September 16, 2002 to March 28, 2003
 
Theatre Ontario is accepting applications for a 7 month internship in
Toronto starting on Sept 16, 2002 to work on a variety of projects:
developing health & safety training tools, broadening web marketing
opportunities for summer theatres, coordinating plans for Theatre
Ontario's annual summer courses for youth and adults and expanding web
resources that match current high school curriculum. 
 
Theatre Ontario provides a central source of information on training,
career opportunities, awards, publications, productions and resources
focused on theatre in Ontario. 
 
The intern must meet the criteria of the Youth Internship Program of
Cultural Human Resources Council (a funder of this position) which
requires that candidates are under 31 years of age, and are un employed
or under-employed. The intern will demonstrate a progressive training
history leading to a career in the arts. Candidates will be personable,
outgoing and excellent communicators who enjoy working in a computerized
and team environment. Familiarity with theatre and the arts is
important.  Preferred candidates will have completed a college or
university degree and demonstrate experience in online/web-based
learning and computer/desktop skills.
 
Salary $475 per week.
