Carousel Players General Auditions and Readings for our 2002/2003 Season

The plays are:

Robot From Orion - Oct. 28 to Nov. 18, 2002 - Niagara Region school tour
- based in St. Catharines A co-production with the Niagara Symphony

Where the Wild Things Are
Winnipeg (MTYP) - Sept. 18 to Nov. 5, 2002,
Southern Ontario school tour (based in St. Catharines) - Jan. 7 to May
2, 2002 Based on Maurice Sendak's book. Max and Mother lead the audience
into the world of the Wild Things.

Wimp - March 3 to May 23, 2002 - Southern Ontario school tour - based in
St. Catharines A play about bullying.


Audition locations: Equity Showcase - 651 Dufferin Street Audtion dates
& times: Wednesday June 26th - 10:30 am to 7:30 pm Thursday June 27th -
10:00 am to 6:00 pm

We are looking for:

Robot from Orion
One man, one woman, to play narrators, robot and young girl Ability to
read music an asset. The story involves guided play with young children,
so improv skills an asset.

Where the Wild Things Are
One man, one woman, to play Max and his mother.
Guided play with young children.

Wimp
Two men, one woman
The woman needs to be strong in Marial Arts or Boxing. It is a very
physical play.

We require one audition piece and an improv or cold read. Please contact

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity

cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
