New this year, we are offering a special Musical Theatre Course for
adults.  This course will feature 12 two & a half-hour classes at the
EPCOR CENTRE taught by one of the best Musical Theatre directors in
Calgary.

The  for the Performing Arts offers a unique learning situation created
by working theatre (and film) professionals.  Our teachers have a
perspective borne of many years experience, giving students a close-up
look at the profession, adding to their previous groundwork. Hal Kerbes,
B. Mus. has had dozens of professional appearances in musical theatre,
drama, and opera. As a professional actor, singer, and dancer he has
appeared in Evita, Buddy, and Into the Woods. As a writer/composer he
has contributed to Snow Angel, Birds' Noel, and the television series
"The Whoopties". Hal has been the musical director for Flanders & Swann,
Torch Song Trilogy and Brand New Opry, and the choreographer for Grease,
Hello Dolly, and Bye Bye Birdie. With 15 years experience as a private
coach for musical theatre students and professionals, Hal has worked
with Citadel Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, and Theatre Calgary.

Hal will be joined for these classes by professional accompanist Cam
Ascroft. This workshop has very limited enrollment, between 6 & 16
students, so this is your opportunity to get quality personal
instruction. Students are requested to bring with them two contrasting
musical theatre selections (including the sheet music) with which they
are familiar. 

This class is a great way to become not only a better musical theatre
performer, but a better musical theatre director. To register call
