Alberta Theatre Projects presents the 18th Annual HARRY & MARTHA COHEN
AWARD

Awarded annually in recognition of a sustained and significant
contribution to theatre in Calgary

THE AWARD
Established by Philip, Cheryl, Faye, and David Cohen in honour of their
parents, Dr. Martha Cohen and the late Dr. Harry Cohen. The first award
was created on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary in
December 1985. Administered on behalf of the Cohen family by Alberta
Theatre Projects. 

THE RECIPIENT RECEIVES:
A cash prize of $1,400.
A framed certificate presented at a special awards ceremony following
the performance of Mieko Ouchi's The Red Priest (Eight Ways to Say
Goodbye) on Saturday, February 8th, 2003 in the Martha Cohen Theatre.
The recipient's name is inscribed on a scroll that hangs in the Martha
Cohen Lobby, which lists all the Harry & Martha Cohen Award recipients
in perpetuity.

ELIGIBILITY
An individual (or group of individuals) who has made an outstanding and
long term contribution to theatre in Calgary.
