MEMBER INFORMATION SESSIONS IN TORONTO AND VANCOUVER

In response to requests from members who have questions about the new
terms of the Canadian Theatre Agreement, now out for ratification, CAEA
is setting up information sessions in Toronto and Vancouver to address
questions and concerns prior to the deadline for mailing back the
ballots on August 11, 2003.

 
TORONTO:
Monday July 28, 2003
Nathan Cohen Studio
Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People
165 Front St. East at Frederick

Stage Management specifically 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
General Membership 6:30 p.m.


VANCOUVER:
Thursday, August 7, 2003
Upper Lobby, Arts Club Theatre
Granville Island, Vancouver
General Membership:  2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.



All members eligible to vote on the new terms of the CTA are encouraged
to attend either meeting. Members of the negotiations committee
including Equity Treasurer Henry Gauthier, and staff will be on hand to
discuss the new fee structure as well as any other items of interest.
Copies of the informational materials will be available and members can
bring their ballots and envelope to cast in person if they wish.

Additional meetings will be scheduled based on member interest and
demand. Please contact either Susan Wallace or Ken Burns in the National
Office, or Ian McDonald in the Western Office if you have questions but
cannot attend a meeting in either location, or if you wish a meeting to
be set up in your region.
