THE THREEPENNY OPERA

Audition Call for Vancouver Opera's Production of The Threepenny Opera
directed by Morris Panych

SEEKING:  We are seeking 2 male and 2 female performers (Equity or
non-Equity) who are strong actors with excellent movement skills.  Will
play various roles in the ensemble.  

AUDITION LOCATION:  Holy Rosary Hall, 650 Richards Street, Vancouver,
B.C.

AUDITION DATE:  Monday October 20, starting at 6:30 p.m.

PREPARATION:  Prepare a one-minute monologue (pre-20th century), and a
movement presentation to 16-32 bars of music.  A CD player will be
provided.

CONTRACT DATES:  Engagement begins February 29, 2004.  The production
opens on March 20 and closes on March 27, 2004.   Performances are at
the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
