Theatre Aquarius is seeking applications for the following: 

Cutter Position 

Applicants for this position should have excellent interpersonal and
supervision skills.  Organization and time management skills are a must.

At Theatre Aquarius, Cutters report to the Head of Wardrobe, and are
responsible for drafting, cutting, fitting, altering and finishing
costumes according to the designer's requirements.  Some sewing is
required, as is the ability to delegate work to stitchers.
Communication skills, pattern drafting, note keeping, interpretation of
designs and attention to detail are all essentials.  The ideal candidate
has a theatre background in costume or a fashion background with
experience in the theatre.

Theatre Aquarius produces a 5-play subscription series plus a large
musical at Christmas on its A-house main stage.  A smaller 3-play series
is also produced in the Studio Theatre.  Some productions tour to other
Canadian theatres.  Aquarius is a dynamic theatre producing
well-received plays for loyal Hamilton audiences and beyond Hamilton's
borders. It includes a wide range of genres and is committed to
providing the quality plays that its audiences have come to expect.  

Contract begins August, 2004 and ends April, 2005.
