macIDeas, the producers of the critically acclaimed Woody Harrelson directed production of This Is Our Youth is pleased to announce casting for the Canadian Premiere production of the smash NY and LA hit production of:

MATT & BEN

Written by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers, MATT & BEN depicts its Hollywood's golden boys - before J-Lo, before Gwyneth, before "Project Greenlight," before Oscar... before anyone actually gave a damn.  When the screenplay for Good Will Hunting drops mysteriously from the heavens, the boys realize they're being tested by a Higher Power.

Rehearsals Begin:  	September 6, 2004
Previews Begin:  	September 28, 2004
Opens:  		October 5, 2004 (subject to change)
Closes:  		December 12, 2004
Holdover:  		Based on demand, possibly to February 2005 and beyond
Venue:			Poor Alex Theatre (E-house)

MATT AND BEN are played by WOMEN, early twenties.  Each actor must be strong, dramatic, with impeccable comic timing.  We are looking for:

MATT:  tall, lanky, Caucasian woman, early 20's- driven but sincere, takes himself too seriously, also plays JD Salinger in one scene

BEN:  short, slightly overweight, dark or ethnic woman, early 20's - driven but sincere, takes himself too seriously, also plays Gwyneth Paltrow in one scene

Please note:  Men are not being considered at all for this production, so please limit submissions to women.
