ERNIE KING MEMORIAL
---------------------

Ernie King passed away on June 10, 2004. He was 85. Ernie was a jazz
musician, actor, director, producer and businessman. He was instrumental
in establishing and running Sepia Players, a theatre company that gave
many actors, Canadian and American, their start. He even sponsored a
basketball team named after his nightclub, the Harlem Nocturne. 

Ernie leaves behind his wife, and partner of 55 years, Marcella, his
daughter Lovena Fox, his son Raymond King and his granddaughter,
Melissa. A good father and friend, he will be truly missed.

The Memorial will be held at the Arts Club, Granville Island at 6 PM on
Monday the 21st of June.  Every one is welcome.
