JOB - FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER - OAKVILLE

This Canadian organization based in Oakville, Ontario was established in
1995 and presented its first production, A Midsummer Night's Dream in
1996 in Coronation Park. Since that time, Festival of Classics has
produced a single production each summer starting in mid-July and
running until mid-August and has emerged as one of the most important
summer Shakespeare festivals in Ontario.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As FOH Manager for Festival of Classics you will work closely with the
Managing Producer, Associate Producer, Stage Management, volunteers and
Box Office for the summer 2004 season. As this is our first season with
multiple productions your attention to detail, excellent communication
skills and past experience will be called upon constantly.

Primary Tasks include:

-communicate daily with Box Office and consignment sales outlets (3)
-manage box office, concessions, bar, and FOH volunteers -participate in
FOH site planning -generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue
statements -act as primary contact for on-site customer care -coordinate
concessions and bar (supply purchase, records, and budgeting) -manage
nightly balancing and reconciliation of revenue, including nightly
deposit -assist with set-up and delivery of Sponsor evenings and events
-liaise with security staff

APPLICANTS

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Front of House
Management, excellent record management skills, excellent communication
skills, a valid driver's licence and a vehicle, and be bondable. 

CONTRACT

July 5 - September 3rd -  $4000 to $5000 commensurate with experience
