project taking place in Toronto.

DESCRIPTION

BATBOY, is a dark comic, pop-rock musical that earned cult following in
New York City, as well as, successful runs in London, England and
through out North America and Europe.  The Story is a chronicle of the
reactions of the town's folk of Hope Falls, West Virginia, to a hideous,
unspeakable beast, who is-half bat and half boy.  Clever-camp
characterizations and keen dialogue fuel this witty high octane cross
between My Fair Lady and Edward Scissorhands.  Musically it runs the
gamut between hard-edged rock and traditional musical theatre.  Stage
Management must be able to handle the energetic demands of a fast paced
musical.
