Theatre Collingwood announces auditions for the 2005 premiere production
of
Real Estate by Allana Harkin, for the following male roles:

a) Role of Joel Hopper
A 38 year old novelist whose unravelling life has given him a severe
case of
writer's block. His inclination to blame everyone but himself has
created a
somewhat jaded outlook which masks a warm caring personality.

b) Role of Ted Phillips
A sharp, early 40's lawyer turned beauty product entrepreneur who is
always
looking for the newest opportunity. Must be a comedic actor.

Contract period:  June 20 - July 16, 2005

Submission deadline:  Feb 24/05 (Auditions held Tuesday March 1/05 in
Toronto)  Please prepare two contrasting selections, one which
demonstrates
your comic sense
