Position Opportunity
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Reporting to the Production Administrator, the Production Coordinator
will provide support to the Production Department.  The Production
Coordinator will assist with the preparation and administration of
rental contracts and personnel contracts and the tracking of
expenditures and the coordination of supernumeraries as well as
providing general production and administrative support, including
maintenance of production and technical records, researching materials
and equipment purchases and arranging auditions for dancers and actors
as required.  

Applicants should have knowledge of theatre production; superior
organization and communication skills (verbal and written); computer
proficiency (Word, Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD an asset); a clean
driving record acceptable to COC insurers; ability to exercise good
judgement, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; availability
to work some evenings and weekends; and an interest in opera.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

The COC is one of Canada's largest arts organizations and one of the
largest producers of opera in North America. Attendance is over 90% of
capacity, artistic excellence is critically acclaimed and a new opera
house for Toronto is well underway. All of these factors contribute to a
