CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO

We are looking for actors for Roseneath Theatre's production of
"Wrecked".
"Wrecked" is a play for high school audiences written by award winning
Edmonton playwright Chris Craddock and directed by award winning Toronto
director/playwright Richard Greenblatt ("Two Piano's, Four Hands").
Roseneath Theatre is committed to issues of social equity in all aspects
of our society. Casting descriptions are based on text. We welcome
applications from all competent artists.

Dates:
Auditions: June 10, Camera Room at Equity Showcase
Rehearsals: February 27 - March 19, 2006 (Workshop during week of
Sept. 12, 2005)
Run: March 20 - April 30, 200
The tour will be largely to high schools in Toronto. Actors will be
expected to help assembling a simple set.
Fees and per diems are above Equity minimums.
We are casting for actors who are experienced theatre performers. The
named characters run throughout the play punctuated by short scenes
where the actors play teenagers.
Lyle An actor in his twenties to play a boy sixteen.
Bartender/
Buddy An actor in his thirties.
Susy An actress in her twenties who can play Lyle's sister,
ten.
Sharon Lyle and Susy's Mother, thirty-five.
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
