Full Time Permanent Employment Opportunity
Neptune Theatre is the leading performing arts venue in Atlantic Canada
and has entertained nearly four million people with more than 350
productions since its inception in 1963. Neptune Theatre is currently
seeking a Corporate Sales Manager to grow corporate sales and to support
a variety of marketing and fundraising activities.
Reporting to the Marketing and Fundraising Manager, the Corporate Sales
Manager will achieve sales targets with corporate sponsorships and group
sales, coordinate loyalty programs and partnership activities, manage
fundraising events, and execute marketing and fundraising campaign
activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- planning and management of renewals, acquisition and servicing
of the Sponsorship Program;
- development and implementation of the E-Commerce strategy
including website management;
- coordinating the marketing campaign for Subscriptions;
- building and maintaining partnerships, as well as other
relationship work with Neptune stakeholders and tourism industry
partners which drive sales;
- coordinating trade show activities and special events including
the Annual Gala Fundraiser and Neptune Theatre Lottery.
The ideal candidate is a creative and disciplined marketing generalist
with a degree in Business Administration or related field (with a focus
on marketing) and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a marketing/sales
role. This position requires a positive and professional individual who
has past and proven sales experience with corporate entities, business
development activities and special events planning. While having the
ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize
deliverables and meet required deadlines, the Corporate Sales Manager
must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. He/she will
have an appreciation for and an interest in the mandate of Neptune
Theatre.
This is a full time permanent position requiring some evening and
occasional weekend work.
