ACORN THEATRE HOLDS 2006 GENERAL AUDITIONS!
The Acorn Theatre of Wallaceburg Ontario is looking for actors with experience in comedy.
In addition to our general call, we are looking for actors to fill the following specific roles:
RED PURPLE AND PROUD!
August 28 - September 16 2006
Role of Queen Jennie: Female 50 plus Eccentric and forceful woman with a risqué sense of humour.
This new play deals with Red Hat Ladies so some knowledge of The Red Hat Society would be an asset.
MY WIFE'S HUSBAND ISN'T ME!
May 1 - 27
Role of Arlene: Female 25 - 35
Frantic upper middle class woman on the verge of a breakdown. Farce experience an asset.
CHRISTMAS CALAMITY
November 13 - December 15
Role of Carl: Male 30 - 40 A hard luck department store Santa with the ability to sing opera.
Role of Andy: Male 25 -35 An acrobatic and very cynical department store Elf.
The Acorn Theatre is also looking to fill one position for an ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER to work on all productions.
