CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - ORANGEVILLE

Theatre Orangeville requires one male actor and one female actor to
complete the cast of their World Premiere production of 'Twas, by Eric
Woolfe.  

Rehearsals run from November 14th to November 30th 2006.
Show dates are December 1 -23, 2006. 

Lucy: Female, 18 to 25.   
Early twenties, should be able to play late teens. Pretty and spunky.
Strong sense of humour an asset. Lucy is about seventeen years of age,
and one of the loveliest young women you could ever hope to see. If you
imagine the first young girl with whom you ever fell in love, at her
brightest and happiest and most bewitching, you would discover that Lucy
looks a lot like her, only almost twice as lovely. Also plays an evil,
sadistic nun named Sister Pomeranski. 

Knecht Ruprecht: Male, 30 to 50.   
He is somewhat rumpled and seedy looking. In fact, he appears to be more
of a character we'd expect to find tippling in the corner of a Bowery
gin joint than narrating a nice cheery Christmas play. But there you
have it, life isn't always what we expect! Also plays a troll and a
dogman. Strong physical acting attributes an asset. 

Please prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes and /
or be prepared to read from provided sides.

Auditions will be August 14th, 2006 in Toronto.
