NOMINATIONS FOR THE PAULINE MCGIBBON AWARD - ONTARIO

The Pauline McGibbon Award, established in 1981, consists of $7,000 and
a medal, designed by Dora de Pedery Hunt, given by the Province and the
Ministry of Culture respectively.  The award is administered by the
Ontario Arts Council and over a three-year cycle goes to a designer, a
director and a production craftsperson.  In 2006, the Pauline McGibbon
Award will go to a Director. 

In view of your knowledge of the scope of theatre in Ontario and your
awareness of the talented individuals who may be worthy of this special
award, we invite you to submit a nomination for the 2006 Pauline
McGibbon Award. 

The deadline for receipt of nominations is FEBRUARY 17, 2006.

Nomination forms are available to anyone in the professional theatre
community in Ontario upon request or can be easily downloaded from our
