MAGNETIC NORTH THEATRE FESTIVAL - PUBLICIST/MARKETING STRATEGIST

The Magnetic North Theatre Festival is a national festival contemporary Canadian Theatre. Coming to Vancouver, June 4th - 14th, 2008, Magnetic North is currently accepting applications for the following position:

PUBLICIST/MARKETING STRATEGIST
The Vancouver Publicist/Marketing Strategist will work with the national office and local staff for the Vancouver Edition of the 2008 Magnetic North Theatre Festival. This individual will have excellent writing skills and experience developing and implementing local, regional and national marketing campaigns. Ability to source and secure media sponsorships is key.  The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, budget-minded and able to work within deadlines.  Experience or knowledge in working with Vancouver-based festivals and/or the theatre and arts community is a must.

This position is a 10-month contract beginning October 3rd and ending June 30th, 2008.
Fee: Competitive
