Position: Production Manager, Lighthouse Festival TheatreApplication Deadline: January 9th, 2009Lighthouse Festival Theatre has an employment opportunity for a Production Manager. This  position demands strong organizational, supervisory and trouble-shooting skills. The Production Manager will be a strong leader who can manage and motivate a diverse team, working under tight time constraints.Reporting to the Artistic and Administrative Directors, and working closely with the theatre's Technical Director, the candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a production schedule, including design meetings, production meetings, load-ins, technical rehearsals, and strikes. The candidate must be competent with budgets, and  provide thorough and accurate paper-work in a timely manner. In addition to scheduling and supervising production personnel, the PM will liaise between the production, creative, and administrative teams, and coordinate the transfer of joint productions with partner theatres.This contract position is seasonal, (May-September).
