The Driftwood Theatre Group, Ontario's Outdoor Summer Touring Theatre
company, is searching for a Technical Director for their summer tour
starting June 9th to August 30th, 2009.  

Reporting directly to the Artistic Director/General Manager, the
Technical Director's major responsibilities will include: coordinating
all technical elements of production design including scenic, props and
wardrobe build and lighting design; coordinating and supervising all
technical rehearsals; supervising all technical personnel during
rehearsals and on tour in Ontario; supervising and conducting all
set-ups and strikes, load ins and load outs.

The successful candidate will have a variety of technical theatre
experience, possess a professional, hard working, outgoing and
personable disposition; with excellent communication and management
skills, and a passion for the theatre. Specifically, experience with
cordless microphone systems, LED lighting technology, temporary
electrical tie-ins, and a valid class G driver's license will be
considerable assets.
