The Driftwood Theatre Group, Ontario's Outdoor Summer Touring Theatre
company, is searching for an Apprentice Stage Manager for their summer
tour starting June 2nd to August 23rd, 2009.  

Reporting directly to the Stage Manager, the Apprentice Stage Manager's
major responsibilities will include: (IN REHEARSAL) daily preparation of
the rehearsals space, properties management and tracking, prompting,
assembling quick change lists; (ON TOUR) coordinating properties and
wardrobe, conducting wardrobe quick changes, cleaning and maintaining
wardrobe and properties. 

The successful candidate will have a variety of stage management
training, possess a professional, hard working, outgoing and personable
disposition; with excellent communication and management skills, and a
passion for the theatre.
