SHOWBOAT FESTIVAL THEATRE 
Requires an

Artistic Director
Showboat Festival Theatre enters its 23rd summer season in Port
Colborne,  Ontario.  This established theatre, with an operating budget
of $250,000, is housed in the Roselawn Centre. An ideal environment in
which to expand your abilities as a Director and Manager, as well as
play an integral part in the promotion, long range development and
expansion of the theatre.


Qualifications
Knowledgeable in all aspects of directing summer theatre, including Play
Direction, 
Set Design, Lighting, Sound, Costuming.

Strong financial, organizational and communication skills are essential.
Must have the ability to work effectively with people as you function in
the following areas: Setting Artistic Policy, Selecting and Directing
Productions, Hiring and Supervising Production Staff, Marketing,
Fund-raising, Grant Proposal Writing, Public Relations, Contract
Negotiation and direct liaison with Board of Directors and Executive
Director.

We are seeking a person with strong artistic and developmental vision to
take the theatre to the next level of excellence.
