The Freewill Players seek a dynamic individual to join its team as
General Manager
Qualifications include:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work unsupervised, and to supervise and delegate to others
Strong background in financial management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Intuit QuickBooks is an
asset
Strong background in corporate and community fundraising, as well as
grant application preparation, is an asset
 Knowledge of the Canadian Theatre Agreement and all requirements is an
asset
Previous experience in arts administration is an asset
Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle are assets
This is a salaried position in which hours of work are expected to vary.
During the annual Festival, it is not unusual for the General Manager to
work long hours, but during the off-season, the position is part-time.
Medical and dental benefits are included. Specific hours of work are to
be negotiated. The successful candidate may be required to provide a
criminal record check.
Closing date for this position is December 31, 2009.
