Out of the Box Productions believes that by combining drama, dance and
music in unique multidisciplinary works, and presenting in more intimate
venues, we have created a powerful way to tell stories that are
meaningful for our whole community.

"Sound in Silence" is our 5th original work which explores how the deaf
"hear" music. Inspired by artists such as Eve-Lyn Glennie and by the
phenomenon of Neuroplasticity, "Sound in Silence" takes place inside the
brain of a deaf dancer. Integrating live and recorded music, dance,
video and sound, this work delves into the world of the brain.

We are searching for a male singer, between the ages of 30-45 who can
sing Bach repertoire. Who has strong acting and some movement skills.
Who can work collaboratively in a demanding creation process.

Rehearsals begin June 1st 2009. Performances are scheduled for June
18-21st at the Theatre Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

Auditions are February 1st from 1-3 p.m.
Singers are asked to sing something by Bach and one other piece. Plus
prepare a monologue from a contemporary play. An accompanist will be

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
