REMINDER - NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2009 EQUITY ELECTIONS DUE JULY 30

Nomination forms are available for download online at
http://www.caea.com. Equity members may stand for election by being
nominated, in writing, by two other members. The nomination form must be
signed by the member, and by two other members in good standing, and
returned to Equity's National Office by July 30, 2009.  You are eligible
to run for elected office if you are a regular member of Equity in good
standing, at least 18 years of age and reside in Canada.

Members may view the list of nominated election candidates in their
region online at

Voting for national Councillors and regional Council Policy Advisory
Group (CPAG) members for the 2009-2012 term will take place in October
2009.

Equity is dedicated to the election of a Council and CPAGs who represent
the diverse membership of the Association. We embrace diversity and
inclusiveness, and we are committed to the principles of fairness,
transparency and access. Council encourages members of a visible
minority group, Aboriginal peoples, persons with a disability and women
to seek nomination for election.
