Performers with well-trained classical singing abilities and strong
music reading skills required. Actors playing Italian characters must
have impeccable Italian pronunciation.

MARGARET JOHNSON (legit soprano, G below middle C to G#, 40-60)
Upper-middle class from Winston-Salem. Warm & appealing with a dry sense
of humour.

CLARA JOHNSON (legit soprano, low A, strong belt/mix to high E, 26) Has
the mental and emotional skills of a 12-year old. People meeting her
would be astonished to know this.

FABRIZIO NACCERELLI (lyric tenor, no pop, to a high B, early 20s)
Handsome Italian boy. Innocent, pure and sweet.

GIUSEPPE NACCERELLI (baritone up to a G, 25-35)
Fabrizio's older brother. Married but pursues other women.

FRANCA NACCARELLI (soprano*, 25-35)
Giuseppe's passionate, sexy wife.

SIGNOR NACCARELLI (baritone up to a G, mid 45-60)
Fabrizio's father. Owns a clothing shop. He is smooth.

SIGNORA NACCARELLI (soprano*, 45-60)
Fabrizio's mother. Appears to be the traditional Italian wife.

ROY JOHNSON (baritone up to a G, 40-60)
Margaret's husband. Emotionally unavailable.

*Either Franca or Signora Naccarelli sing up to high F.
