The Canadian Opera Company is looking for 1 female puppeteer/acrobat for their upcoming 2009/10 season production of The Nightingale and Other Short Fables. The individual cast in this production must be a member of CAEA and will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
We are seeking a female individual who is an accomplished physical theatre performer equipped with a variety of skills – acrobatics, gymnastics, & puppetry.

Location: 227 Front Street East, Toronto, Ontario - McLaughlin Studio
Audition Times: 
▪ Individuals will be contacted with their audition time slot
▪ Auditions will fall between the hours of 10:00AM – 5:00PM
▪ There will be no call backs
Please prepare: 
▪ No monologue required.
▪ Be prepared to move and showcase acrobatics & puppetry skills.
▪ You will be asked to perform some ground routines & exercises in
gymnastics & acrobatics.
▪ You will also be asked to manipulate puppets both in shadow play
and in front of a screen.
Please bring: 
▪ Comfortable clothing so you can move freely.
▪ Water bottle.
