REMINDER - MAIL 2010 - 2013 CANADIAN OPERA AGREEMENT BALLOTS TODAY

Equity recently reached a tentative deal with the Canadian Opera Company
(COC) for the renewal of a three-year Canadian Opera Agreement (COA).
Ratification packages, including a ratification ballot and a copy of the
proposed changes to the 2010 - 2013 (COA), together with detailed
explanatory notes, have already been mailed to Equity members in good
standing who worked under the Agreement during the 2007-2010 term.

Equity members are advised to mail their 2010 - 2013 COA ratification
ballots today in order to ensure that the ballot is received in time to
be counted. Only ballots received in Equity's national office prior to
5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 21 will be counted.

The COC and Equity have agreed to extend the current 2007-2010 COA until
July 31, 2010. All negotiated changes will be retroactive to July 1,
2010 following a successful ratification.

available in the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE at www.caea.com.
