2010 - 2013 CANADIAN OPERA AGREEMENT RATIFIED BY MEMBERSHIP

The recently re-negotiated Canadian Opera Agreement with the Canadian
Opera Company was ratified by the affected Equity membership in a ballot
count held earlier today.

Members voted 100% in support of the proposed changes. The return rate
on the ballots mailed was 24%.

The negotiated changes are retroactive to July 1, 2010 and the new
Agreement extends to June 30, 2013.

Copies of the new Agreement will be available on EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com) and in hard copy as soon as updating and printing
allows.
