Nightwood Theatre is seeking submissions from established and
independent female directors to be included in The Canadian Women
Directors Catalogue: A comprehensive list of Canadian Women Directors
which will be launched by Nightwood Theatre and PACT.

The Canadian Women Directors Catalogue: A comprehensive list of Canadian
Women Directors is an opportunity for established and independent female
directors to be included in a listing that will be distributed to the
national professional theatre community. This initiative was motivated
by the findings of Equity in Canadian Theatre - which brought to the
fore the staggering disparity of opportunities for woman directors,
playwright and artistic directors across Canada. By publishing this
comprehensive list, we hope to create opportunities and raise awareness
of the breadth and diversity of talent that women in the field of
directing have today in Canadian Theatre.
