Additional information:
The Thousand Islands Playhouse in Gananoque, Ontario is seeking a Head
Scenic Artist.
This is a full time position beginning mid to late April and continuing
until approximately September 12, with the possibility of some "down
weeks" depending on design needs.
The Scenic artist will work with members of the creative team to realize
the design concepts of the set designer.  This individual will be
responsible for painting all of the sets for our 2010 season,
maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our 1500 sq ft paint shop, and
for estimating production paint needs for the purposes of ordering and
budgeting.
Under the leadership of founding Artistic Director Greg Wanless, the
Thousand Islands Playhouse's guiding philosophy is to develop a
creative, dynamic community.  Now in its 29th season The Thousand
Islands Playhouse produces a 25 week season in two beautiful theatres
along the Shores of the St. Lawrence River.
