This is an ethnically diverse production.

Arbez Drama Projects is looking for a few more members to round out an
Equity co-op to present a Fringe version of MAURICE CARTER'S INNOCENCE,
written by Donald Molnar and Alicia Payne; directed by Tanisha Taitt.
Available roles:
- DOUG TJAPKES, a White man in his 60s
- MAURICE CARTER, a black man in his 60s
- 2 MALE CHORUS MEMBERS (Tenors and Baritones) to sing in 16-member
gospel choir and play additional roles.
For the roles of Doug and Maurice, we will consider actors who appear
within the age range of 40-70. Singers & non-singers welcome to submit.
This 90-minute BYOV production will appear in the Toronto Fringe, which
runs from June 30 - July 10, 2010.
MAURICE CARTER'S INNOCENCE is based on a true story. The play is
available at the Toronto Reference Library, 5th floor drama desk.

Early submissions are recommended. Equity performers will be considered
first. If submitting for a CHORUS ROLE, please state your voice part,
vocal range, and any a cappella singing experience.
We appreciate all who take the time to make submissions and regret that

Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a
Fringe application and all net proceeds from the production will be
divided equally among the participants.
