Tapestry New Opera will hold general auditions for singers on
October 19 & 20 (Equity members) & Oct 21 (non-Equity).

Singers interested in working with the company should have a strong
interest in participating in the development and performance of new
works of opera and demonstrate excellent acting skills. 

Applicants should ensure that they are familiar with Tapestry's mandate
prior to applying and should keep the mandate in mind when choosing
audition repertoire.

Requirements: Please prepare one operatic aria, post 1950.  Please also
be prepared to sing a second aria (of your own choosing) if requested. 

An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your own music.

Equity members will be required to sign in and provide a valid Equity
Card.

Applicants who are selected for an audition will be contacted to arrange
appointment. 


Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
