Additional information:
The Theatre Program at Sir Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of
Newfoundland invites applications for a second tenure-track appointment
for its Acting Stream. The successful candidate will possess an MFA
(Theatre) degree, or the equivalent combination of professional
experience, education and training. The successful candidate must
demonstrate a breadth of significant professional theatrical experience
in directing as well as having taught at the undergraduate level. The
teaching responsibilities will include teaching acting courses across
the four years of an undergraduate (BFA) theatre program and directing
program productions. The ability to teach one or more of the following
would be an asset: first year course in Theatre History, Voice and/or
Movement. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the ability to
contribute to the growth and development of the Theatre Program and
participate in academic service. The candidate must also possess the
potential for significant research/creative activity and growth.
