Lunchbox Theatre seeks highly motivated individual to take on role of
General Manager

Calgary's Lunchbox Theatre celebrated its 35th Anniversary in 2010,
making it the longest running lunchtime theatre in the world. From a
foundation of noon-hour performances, Lunchbox Theatre creates, produces
and disseminates one act plays with a focus on new Canadian works.
Through the Stage One Festival of New Work Lunchbox Theatre has assisted
close to 100 playwrights, creating over 150 plays. The Emerging Director
Program has given a number of aspiring directors their first
professional credit and exposure. In 2008, Lunchbox Theatre moved into
its new 150 seat theatre at the base of the Calgary Tower.

Working in partnership with Artistic Director, Pamela Halstead, and
reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager works within
the artistic and business mandate to ensure the smooth and successful
operation of the theatre, from day to day operations to strategic
management. The GM is responsible for the financial, administrative,
promotional, audience development and general management of the theatre
with an annual operating budget of approximately $850,000.
