Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
St. Francis of Millbrook, by Sky Gilbert, will run from August 13th to September 1st, 2012.  Performances are Monday to Saturday.  Rehearsals begin July 24th, 2012.  We will be casting for the following:

Three men who can play 16-19 years old
Two women who can play 16 years old
One woman who can play mid-late 30s
One man who can play mid-late 30s

Actors from the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community are especially encouraged to submit. Equity and non-equity artists are encouraged to apply. Equity artists will be seen first.

Additional information:
St. Francis of Millbrook is the coming of age story of Luke and the challenges of growing up gay in rural Ontario.

4th Line Theatre brings history to life on the barnyard stages of the picturesque fifth generation Winslow Farm in Millbrook, Ontario. The theatre company preserves our Canadian cultural heritage through the presentation of regionally-based, environmentally-staged historical drama. Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
