Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Two women in their mid 20s who can sing, dance and play a musical instrument - not piano.  Non-equity artists and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged.

Queen Marie will run from July 3rd to August 4, 2012.  Performances are Tuesday to Saturday with an added performance on Monday July 30th.

Queen Marie, by Shirley Barrie, is the story of Cobourg-born Marie Dressler, a strong, successful Broadway and Hollywood star considered one of the greatest comediennes of her generation.

4th Line Theatre brings history to life on the barnyard stages of the picturesque fifth generation Winslow Farm in Millbrook, Ontario. The theatre company preserves our Canadian cultural heritage through the presentation of regionally-based, environmentally-staged historical drama.
