Additional information: The Chemainus Theatre Festival (CTF) will be
holding General Auditions for their 2013 Season in Toronto on August 7,
2012 at the Tarragon Theatre' Rehearsal Hall. 

Applicants are asked to prepare:

- Either 2 contrasting pieces (2 minutes each) or 1 piece and 1 song - a
total of 4 minutes of material. An accompanist will be provided, please
bring music.

CTF is a 270 seat CAEA venue, seeing over 70,000 patrons a year.  It
operates year-round in the seaside village of Chemainus on Vancouver
Island and serves a region of over 700,000 residents, as well as some
seasonal Island tourists. CTF is proud to be a major contributor to CAEA
artists in BC, totaling over 600 work weeks in 2012.  CTF also runs
education programs and community initiatives.

Our 2013 Season, running February 2013- December 2013, will consist of 7
Main Stage shows and 2 TYA shows.  While planning is complete, public
announcements will begin in September.  The season will feature two
musicals, a commedia based and highly physical comedy, two period dramas
and a holiday classic. Contracts will range from 6-14 weeks.

contacted to set up a time slot. Deadline to submit is 12:00am on Monday
July 16, 2012.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
