INDEPENDENT THEATRE AGREEMENT (ITA) EXTENDED

The Independent Theatre Agreement (ITA) has been extended with new fees for 2012-2015.

 

THE EXTENDED ITA DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY OF THE RECENTLY NEGOTIATED MATERIAL CHANGES TO THE CTA. The material terms of the ITA remain exactly the same as in the existing Agreement.

 

The extended ITA fee and other monetary amount increases mirror the increases as recently ratified for the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA). The ITA fee and other monetary amount increases are: 1.5% in 2012-2013; 1.5% in 2013-2014; 2% in 2014-2015; 3% for single fees 2012-2015; and 5.08% for all workshop fees 2012-2015.

 

The ITA Minimum fees for 2012-2013 apply from June 25, 2012 to June 23, 2013; for 2013-2014, from June 24, 2013 to June 29, 2014; and for 2014-2015, from June 30, 2013; for 2013-2014 to June 28, 2015.

 

"e-search," Equity's online agreement search engine will be updated with the new fees and an ITA minimum fee document will be available online as soon as possible after June 25.
