The Chemainus Theatre Festival is accepting applications for the position of Apprentice Stage Manager for their 2012 summer musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". 

Contract Dates: May 17 - September 8, 2012

Primary position components:
-Apprentice Stage Manager working with Equity Stage Manager -Full-time, term employment with hourly wage. -Eligibility for Equity credits.

Qualifications: 
-Intention to become a professional CAEA Stage Manager. -Post-secondary education in theatre arts-related study. 
-Strong organizational and people skills.
-A good knowledge of stagecraft, technical theatre, and rehearsal procedures. 
-Experience and resourcefulness in handling emergencies. -Tireless enthusiasm, with an attitude toward training. -Experience working on musicals, with large casts an asset.
