Casting for ensemble in Canadian musical "The Man from the Capital" by Colin Heath and John Millard.

If you are currently enrolled in a post-secondary theatre training program and are interested in becoming part of the Festival Players company for the summer please be in touch. Participants will be offered both the opportunity to perform in the ensemble and to work with company artists in a workshop/intensive setting on areas such as choral singing, movement, etc.

"The Man from the Capital" is a musical adaptation of Gogol's The Government Inspector, a physical/clown inspired comedy/farce, performed outdoors under a tent...if that's your bag/up your alley then please send us your resume and headshot.

Prince Edward County is a rural area, 2 ½ hours east of Toronto. Performances run Aug 8 to 25. Access to a vehicle during rehearsal and performance is a bonus as there is no public transportation and cycling is not particularly viable.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
